Valentine and a weekend snack!

This is a little card that I made in a real pinch.

And these are some of my favourite snacks! Holy smokes, I could eat a whole bag of those Crispy Minis. Dill Pickle flavour is my favourite. (I have eaten a whole bag in one sitting before. I got a bad stomach ache.)

A Really Weird Collection

What is this? You might ask.
These are baby shoes that I have found on the streets on Toronto (except one of the pink ones; it's from Barcelona)
I don't go looking for fallen baby shoes, in fact, I only find about one a year. I always look around after I've found it to see if there's a kid around, but there hasn't been for any of these, so I just take them home. It's either that, or leave them in the streets or throw them in the garbage.
I feel like Liz Lemon from 30 Rock!

Apartment part 3: Bathroom

Look at this awesome shower curtain!

And that's the only interesting thing in the bathroom.

A Food Post!

(Or, A Post About Food Stuffs)

Today I made a very Katherine-friendly dinner.

Rice, green beans, and chicken seasoned with salt, pepper, paprika and a bit of cayenne pepper.
I think this might be the first time I seasoned chicken without a recipe (I am not a fancy cook!). I put a bit too much black pepper, but other than that, I was happy!

Now I'm drinking some of this:

My aunt gave me this little present. It's dried mint leaves from her herb garden!  Thank you so much Auntie Nina!

Rainbow-Stacked Origami Cranes

I've had a stack of rainbow origami paper on my shelf for way too long.
Something had to be done.

I saw a picture of something very similar to this in my favourite origami book, so I decided to make this.
I love it so much!

I added some rainbow beads at the bottom for good luck.

This is another ornament I just made. Surprisingly much more difficult than the cranes!

I love them both. (I also love that you can see the CN tower in this photo!)
