Scott Pilgrim poster! This came with the complete series I got for my birthday.

 I got this poster last year at TCAF, and had it mounted and now it's up on my wall.

It's by Joy Ang and I really like it! 

This year at TCAF, I bought two more, that have yet to be mounted:

This one reminds me of Harry Potter and the eagle scene from the Hobbit.

This one is so beautiful.

I like both of them so much! 

Chris got this one. It also reminds me of the Hobbit, and it looks like it's by the same person... Coincidence?

Cupcakes and Origami

I celebrated an early birthday this weekend (my actual birthday is tomorrow!) and I made myself some cupcakes.

My friend Caitlin also made some surprise cupcakes for my birthday, and hers were way cooler.

I made some orgami "balloons" with Chris, including an itsy teeny weeny one.

and just now I made this dragonfly from some rather ugly stripy paper.

The Most Magnificent Teapot in the Whole World.

A few days ago, I was not having a great day. I was feeling glum, so I decided to take a walk. I wandered into Chapters, and saw this most wonderful teapot set. It was part of all their "mothers day" paraphernalia. I decided to just buy it for myself! Now, this teapot set may look nice and normal...

But when you're all done with it, you stack it all up!

I love the little sugar bowl on top the most. It's so tiny!

I can't wait to buy some ceramic paint to decorate it.

Diamonds

Tonight I will learn about diamonds.
