Easter Eggs

I had a lot of fun decorating eggs this weekend!

We filled cups with all the colour tablets, and added vinegar to make them as intense as possible!

These are the first eggs Chris and I made. We only used blue and green ink. Chris made his (on the left) in about 5 seconds, and mine took much longer.

We then made all the colours, and Chris's 4 year old cousin Hannah made eggs with us. These are her creations, with help from her mom to dip the eggs. The one on the right has flowers on it, and the one on the left has an "H" on it, but not showing in the picture.

This was Chris's 2nd egg. I think it says "This egg done gone broke!" because he broke it when he was dropping it into the pot to boil it!

This is my magic egg! I dipped it in yellow first, then coloured some stars, then dipped in orange, coloured more, then pink, coloured, then purple, coloured, and lastly, dipped in blue! I'm happy with it!

New Things

I got myself two small lights for my bike, so I can cycle at night and be safe. I got my sock animal to model them for this blog photo. Unfortunately, it's been so frigging cold lately that I haven't been biking yet!

I decided that I'm going to decorate some Easter eggs this weekend! I haven't done it in so long. What's awesome is that I don't think these kits have changed one bit since I was a little kid.

Happy Easter!

I bought myself a present today

A chocolate bunny!

It's so tiny.

There it is with my sock animal.

Three things that don't have anything to do with one another

1.
This is a purse by Desigual, a brand created in Spain by a Swiss designer. Everything is really unique and colourful! I have been resisting the temptation to buy one of their many awesome purses, as they cost between $70-120 depending on the size and materials. This one is my favourite.

2.

Last week I bought some acrylic paint from the dollar store so I can paint small things! The colours weren't very good, so I opted for mixing most of them. My little painting has turned out pretty intense!

3.

I think I will be doing my nails soon. I have this basket of polishes just staring at me.... saying "nail art... nail art... nail arrrrrrttttt..."

Happy April, everyone!
